How HelloCyber Came to Be
HelloCyber didn't start as a business idea. It started with an observation — and a question that refused to go away.
Children Are Growing Up in an Uncharted Digital World
Kamran observed that children were increasingly shaped by digital environments that their parents and schools were unequipped to help them navigate. AI, social media, and algorithm-driven platforms were restructuring childhood — but the guidance available to families hadn't kept pace.
Writing ABC of Online Safety
To help families understand the basics of protecting children online, Kamran wrote ABC of Online Safety — a clear, accessible guide for parents. The response confirmed what he suspected: families were desperately seeking practical, honest guidance that didn't talk down to them.
Safety Education Alone Isn't Enough
Through research and engagement with families, it became clear that warnings alone don't build resilience. Children needed a structured, positive framework — one that developed capabilities, not just rules. The concept of digital resilience began to take shape.
The HelloCyber Digital Resilience Framework
Drawing on his MBA background in Information Technology, entrepreneurial experience, and research into digital childhood, Kamran developed the HelloCyber Digital Resilience Framework — three domains, seven pillars, and a structured model for measuring and building children's digital capabilities.
HelloCyber — Building Toward a Global Platform
HelloCyber is now developing the tools, assessments, and educational resources to make digital resilience accessible to every family and school. The long-term goal is to establish digital resilience as a recognised, measurable life skill — taught alongside emotional intelligence and critical thinking.
